What Is ULTRADUNGEON?

ULTRADUNGEON is an indie roguelike that has been in development since early 2023. It's a passion project that my co-developer, Nathan Young, and I have put blood, sweat, and tears into since its inception. The game is a conglomeration of genres, including bullet hell, roguelike, dungeon crawler, extraction fighter, & RPG. As of now, ULTRADUNGEON has over two hundred unique hand-sprited items, four unique NPCs, functional inventory & shop UI, and much more, which will be discussed later on this page!

Current Features.
• Over 200 unique items including 80 weapons.
• 3 player classes to choose from.
• 4 unique NPCs with dozens of dialogue options each.
• Enemies with random loot drops.
• An interactive inventory and storage system.
• A dynamic shop menu, with discounts and refunds.
• A status effect system, used by weapons, consumables and enemies.
• A crafting system, with several types of crafting stations.
• Several types of lootable items, including forageables, chests and money-filled pots.

ULTRADUNGEON was initially planned to be developed using the UNITY engine, however shortly after the project's inception we made the decision to switch to the GODOT engine. Today the project is built upon the GODOT 4.3 game engine.
